THE ECUADORIANOIL PALM

The Ecuadorian oil palm, also known as oil palm or African palm is a species of the Elaeis genus.

Its seeds are irregular and very rich in oil.

Producing, cultivating and exporting oil palm generates 57.213 jobs nationwide.

Currently around 2.785.756 tons of oil palm are produced.

The main export markets are Mexico, Peru and other countries in the South American region.
